Harley's sleeping faceplate arrived today, I'm so happy for her, now she can sleep, and kiss Crow with her eyes closed (which is a pose that will happen in the near future). I photographed them today, but I don't really have any words yet. Just a sweet pic. I'm sure I'll get back to them soon. I'm still adjusting to the heat (it's been 108) and the summer, and being home.

Rose Gets to Keep the Wig!
My friend decided she wanted the wig in a different color, which is perfect, since I decided I wanted the wig she had ordered! So Rose gets to keep this wig as her mostly permanent wig.
While Juno is lovely in the white one. She'll be going into a different wig as soon as it arrives, in two weeks or so. So much of her personality is defined by the short wig, and I don't want to change that. She's a spunky little thing.

Two by Two
Juno and Rose are wig swapping again. My friend who is buying Emma, bought the brown wig for her. Since it's here, I tried it on Rose and think it looks really sweet on her. I might have to order one for her. Juno is now wearing the white wig. Wig swapping is too much fun. I really need to sell a few to make room for some other ones, lol.
And just to prove that they are happy and well, here are Crow and Harley. I am sure I will pick up with their story at some point soon, but I'm still re-adjusting to being home. I also decided that when the reshell for Crow arrives (in tan) I will start at the beginning of their story, which is in alignment with when they met, sometime in the fall. So as long as he shows up between September and October, we'll be good to go.

Rose is the First One Out of the Box!
We're home and Rose was the first one I took out of her box. I missed her quite a bit. She is experimenting with the white mohair wig. I actually have a pink one on order for her, in the same style as the wine colored one, so I figured I might as well play around with her hair until that one arrives.
I've also ordered another wig for Juno, same short style, but this time it's got a touch of brown in the blonde, so it won't be quite as light as this wig or as yellow as her first wig.
I'm hoping the order shows up in two weeks. Harley and Crow are out of their boxes as well, but they weren't part of the photo shoot today.
I'm selling Phelan, only because I really don't want 4 littlefee. It just feels like too many, and I feel a bit guilty having so many bjds. I know there are lots of people who have many more, but for me and my family's budget, it just doesn't sit well with me, if that makes sense. I would rather have 3 littlefees and 2 minifees, with everyone having a sleeping faceplate, than have the extra doll. This means, I need to figure out how to get a default sleeping Ante Elf faceplate for Juno. I'm not in any rush, so that's a plus.
Phelan's faceplate has already been spoken for, but the body (which is actually a girl) is listed on Den of Angels. I decided he needed to go, because when I got home, I had no desire to take him out of his box, which tells you a lot. Still, I'm not making any decisions on what I'm going to do with the tan Ante Elf. It might be a boy, it might be a girl. I will know once he/she arrives home, and I try on different wigs and see how it feels. It might be a reshell of Phelan. It would be kind of nice to have two girls and one boy. More clothes for each of the girls. We'll see. I won't be sure until September, when the new one arrives!

Last Day in the Park
There are bison in the background. We always see a lot of them, which is nice.
Some scenic shots of the landscape.

Who Else But...Juno (Since she's the only one available to me until Saturday.)
In a field full of dandelions. We don't get them in Tucson much.
She looks completely in her element.
Against the ends of the cabin.
Portrait.
I'm a little bored and can't wait to go home, lol. Next year I need to bring some sewing or knitting with me so I have something to do besides read and photograph Juno. :)

Wishing to Pet a Wolf
J: Well, why can't a pet a wolf?
Me: We don't pet wolves; they're wild animals.
J: Well, I pet Phelan and he's a wolf, or at least he will be when he's older.
Me: You know that's not the same thing, Juno. Your brother is going to be a shapeshifter, which is not the same thing as a wolf living in the wild.
J: I'm disappointed. I thought I would get to pet a wild wolf while I was here.
Me: We want them to avoid people anyway, Juno, they are safer that way.
